 Deanne McDonald as Elizabeth
Deanne thoroughly enjoyed geeking it up with Chris and the rest of the cast in "The Monster of Phantom Lake!" Some of her recent theatrical endeavors include: forming her theater company, the Traveling Players, and reaking havoc on Twin Cities' parks with a modern take on "Much Ado," cross-dressing as Viola in "Twelfth Night" with Shakespeare & Co. in White Bear, and costuming "Accidental Death" with Nimbus Theatre in Mpls. She has also been etched on the silver screen in such local films as "Uptown Girl," "Stimulus," and the Venus DeMars music video, "Trashed." Deanne holds a B.A. in Theater from Augsburg College. Up next: directing the fall play at her old high school, Henry Sibley....insert scary music....

 Rachel Grubb as Amy
Maiden of the forest, femme fatale... brain-slurping zombie Rachel Grubb is as versatile as those omni-purpose kitchen gizmos advertised on late-night TV infomercials. At the 2000 New York International Independent Film and Video Festival, Rachel garnered the "Best Breakthrough Screenplay" award for her script, Why Am I in a Box? Rachel also attended IMTA in 2003 and won a medal in the Cold Read competition and a trophy for the Sitcom category. Since this auspicious beginning, Rachel’s laurels haven’t wilted, but flourished. Since her role in The Monster of Phantom Lake, she has been the object of demented desire in Bitterbug, a cold-as-her-cutlery ninja in Vengeance, and a warrior/enchantress in the upcoming broad sword of a fantasy short, The Chimera Tribe: Record of Abraxas. And this is a mere whiff of the scintillating skins Rachel’s slipped on: Poltergeists, zombies, Shakespearean tragic waifs, hand-wringing neurotics, vampiric villains. She has appeared in music videos by Dayfeed, NOFX, POS and Slug, and The Idle Hands. |

 Mike Mason as Lobo/Michael Kaiser
Mike has been acting since his father first caught him with a pack of cigarettes. Since that time, he's appeared in numerous theater productions at Dudley Rigg's Brave New Workshop, Theatre de la Jeune Lune, The Bryant Lake Bowl Theater, and a high school near you! Having partnered with director Chris Mihm in several rock bands, and on such short films as "High Shine Tragedy," "Tatsuo," and "Tomorrow's Dead," Mike is very excited to have worked with Chris on a feature length production. Currently, Mike is working on becoming King of the Universe, Ruler of All Cosmos for future productions with Mr. Mihm and Saint Euphoria Pictures/All For George Productions. Mike likes pizza. A lot. |
